Bracing the Blue Line - Fun Fact 6

The next few fun facts are the behind-the-scenes type. We'll be talking more about the names of my characters and where they came from. If you missed the first, second, third, fourth, or fifth, go check them out!

All you really know at this point is this: Captain Neil Lawson wants to run for the hills when a one night stand shows up on his doorstep, pregnant with his baby. His past haunts him before fueling him into being a part of this girl and this baby’s lives, but it won’t be that easy.

Regardless of what happens, the baby needed a name. If you watch the TODAY show, particularly Kathie Lee and Hoda, then you know they have a feature called Johnson & Johnson's Baby of the Week. (Or something like that.) Anyway, I was watching one morning, knowing that baby needed a name, and then I heard it.

The perfect name.

And that's how I found it! Names are important, but scouring baby name sites just wasn't working for what I was searching for. I didn't know what that name was until I heard it in the segment.

Check back tomorrow for another BtBL Fun Fact, this time about Grant! Be sure to continue following the BtBL Pinterest board for daily teasers.
You can add Bracing the Blue Line to your to-read shelf and enter a giveaway on Goodreads. Don't forget to pre-order it for the special price of $2.99 on Amazon, iBooks, B&N, or Kobo.
