Nepenthe - Fun Fact 3

Have you ever been riding in a car where someone else was driving and you wanted to pressed your own foot to floor as if you could hit the brakes for them?

Or maybe you'd grab what some call the "oh, shit" handle because you needed something to hold on to just to feel safer?

Olivia's driving was originally a bit wild, but nothing too scary. The way I wrote it Corey's original reaction didn't really fit what I described.

I ended up tweaking it to fit his reactions and Olivia became a maniac-like driver whose passengers walked away, speaking of near-death experiences.

It became a fun trait about her, which is mentioned every so often in the book.
